We had a busy week getting ready for Easter break. Thursday morning we were worried, when our Easter baskets were just as we had left them Wednesday night. Some of us thought the Easter Bunny may have forgotten us. :(
We were pleasantly surprised that he found our classroom while we were at lunch! Our baskets were filled with candy, along with our dyed Easter eggs, and were hiding in all kinds of places around the room! Before we ate the candy, we promised the Easter Bunny that we would complete the math activity that he left for us. The class had to sort and graph our jelly beans by color. Which color jelly bean did your Kindergartner have most? One thing we learned this week is that chickens aren't the only ones who lay eggs. The eggs we died were chicken eggs and some of us were brave enough to taste them!! Can you Kindergartner tell you some other animals that hatch from eggs?
